A community banner making project designed to give the residents of the small township of Molong, NSW the opportunity to tell their story on a banner. As artist in residence I invited individuals, clubs, schools, and  pre-schools to make colourful banners. They were used to decorate the street as part of the inaugural Molong Music and Arts Festival. A diverse range of groups and individuals came along, designed, painted and chatted. Ranging from the local garden club to a family that  took the first Bees to WA across the Nullabor, local schools and pre-school to local artists.

Invited to devise and facilitate a banner making project in the Orana region of NSW (Dubbo and Far West). Many playgroups and childcare centres in the region created their own banners which were all given a common border. These were used to decorate a large open air festival in Dubbo, NSW as part of a Children's week celebration.

The Commonwealth Fly Fishing Championships were held in Tasmania. Centred upon Deloraine in the north. There were countries from all parts of the Commonwealth involved. A street parade was to be held to celebrate. I was asked to facilitate a project that created links between local schools and the fly fishing event.  Local schools were approached to create a banner illustrating one of the countries involved and then march in the parade carrying the banner and the country name, walking with that country's fly fishing team. At the end of the parade the banners were given to the countries involved to take home and hopefully create links with schools in that country.

A project imagined for the Tasmanian Craft Fair, Deloraine. The largest working craft fair in the Southern Hemisphere, run by the Rotary Club of Deloraine. The TCF wanted to create a visual link between the multi venues of the Craft Fair and the town centre. Involving some of the many local community groups. The bridge that crosses the Meander river is a natural entrance to the town. Local interested community groups created banners that reflected their community identity. These were flown on the bridge to create an entrance spectacle during the Tasmanian Craft Fair.

A project imagined for the Tasmanian Craft Fair, Deloraine. The largest working craft fair in the Southern Hemisphere, run by the Rotary Club of Deloraine. The TCF wanted to create links with schools in Tasmania the first year and then with Alice Springs/Tasmania the second. This was achieved by asking schools if they wished to participate in creating flags, on a theme, that would be on display along the Meander River throughout the Craft Fair. Over sixty flags were created over the two years of the project.
